Events & Classes

There are always opportunities to play at YAMS. These events are free or have a very low cost, and you will meet an interesting mix of people, ages, and skill levels. Come play along, or just come and listen! You can see pictures here.

Classes last about an hour and cost only $20 a month per person (if there's a 5th day in the month, we take a day off!). We'll take your email address when you sign up, and music will be emailed to you every week. You print it out and bring it to the class.

This is a GREAT way to get started on an instrument, to see if you like it, or even to supplement your regular private lessons. (Ask ANY musician - it's a lot more fun to play WITH other people!)

Students in this class have been playing for over a year.

Students in this class usually have been playing 4-5 months.
