Rebecca Erickson is an award-winning flautist now teaching at Yams. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Flute performance from Florida State, and is a certified teacher in Georgia and Florida.

Rebecca has studied with Eva Amsler (Flute professor at Florida State), Stephanie Jutt (Flute Professor at University of Wisonsin-Madison), and Carl Hall (principal piccollo with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra).

She performed numerous times with botht he undergraduate and graduate-level orchestra at Florida State, and placed in the top 3 twice in the Florida Young Artist Competition. She was also First place in the 2000 Joseph Merit Scholarship Award, and was First place in the 2001 Tallahassee Music Guild Award competition.
